Carbohydrates. It is a natural product that is made from plant and grass seeds and that is refined into sugars. Some of the common sources of carbohydrates are the vegetables and fruits, wheat bread and pasta, white rice, whole grain breads, and cereals. Avoid too much refined sugar as it can cause various health problems and is also considered to be a major contributor to obesity.
Proteins. Proteins are found in meat, fish and dairy products. They can be found in the legumes, nuts and seeds such as flaxseeds and chia seeds. Protein should form a part of your meals. Fats. Fats can be obtained from eating oily fish and lean meats. It is also possible to get fat from certain types of fruits and vegetable oils such as olive and sunflower oil. Fat can be included in your meals as part of your healthy balanced diet.
Complex Carbohydrates. This is the type of carbohydrate that can be obtained from a variety of sources, including some fruit, vegetables, grains, or even nuts and seeds. However, complex carbohydrates can be difficult to digest, especially if you have diabetes, high blood pressure or heart conditions, so it is better to use them sparingly.
In order for you to get the proper balance of the different types of carbohydrates, it is best to add them slowly to your daily diet. You should avoid the food groups that have lots of sugar, starch, and protein as these can all make your blood glucose levels increase more quickly. You should also avoid foods rich in fat, sodium, and cholesterol because these can also lead to diabetes. If you want to eat more fruits and vegetables, you should eat whole grains and other healthy carbohydrates that have fewer calories than you normally do.
Eat a variety of different kinds of foods each day. You should include a variety of foods in your meal. For example, eat an egg, omelette, brown rice, baked potato, or some fruit or some vegetables every day. This will give your body the chance to digest and absorb the different kinds of food you eat, thus helping your body to be able to digest it well. Drink lots of water. Water is a great way to stay hydrated, flush out toxins and eliminate waste. Avoid fatty and spicy items like spicy dishes, fried foods, red meat, cheese, and nuts and seeds. These are usually rich in saturated fats, salt, calories, and sodium, and can actually put too much stress on your digestive system.
